Meet Chantel, 6yr Old 16hh Mare with superb breeding by Lancelot who goes back to the famous Volataire out of a ISH by Chin Chin. Breeding wise she could get no better and every bit of it shines out through. Broken as a 5yr Old through no fault of her own this lady is fit and ready to go this season in pretty much any discipline you choose.
Chantel has amazing extravagant paces. Rides nicely on the flat and would be ready to affiliate in Dressage. Very much a little power house with flashy paces and a big engine built in behind.
Showjumping wise she is consistently competing training shows at 1m getting double clears each time out. Doesn’t look at the fences and is showing huge promise. If you wanted to stick to the showjumping this lady will certainly take you up through the levels. Very easy to ride around a track keeps a nice consistent rhythm and certainly does not like to touch a pole.
Chatel has been on some Hunt rides this winter and behaved impeccably. Again very brave and scopey cross-country, very good with banks and drains and plenty of talent and brain for the solid fly fences. Has been cross-country schooled and shows huge talent. Would certainly make a superb Eventer esp for the Juniors if they were looking for a smaller mount.
On top of all of that Chantel is an absolute dream to have on the yard. No vices what so ever, has manners to burn, is kind and gentle in every way. Good to clip, box, shoe etc. Really is a superb lady to have around and definitely a yard favourite. Hacks alone and in company as good as gold, doesn’t get silly or hot in any situations. Absolute cracker of a mare that has massive potential. For riding club level she would excel in all disciplines becoming a rosette machine. She is ready to affiliate either in SJI (BSJA), EI (BE) or in BD. Very rare that a mare comes up who is utterly safe and talented in every discipline. Very versatile horse who is ready to get on with the coming competition season.
Based in Ireland approx 40mins from Dublin Airport. We can of course collect you from the airport and take you to the yard if you would like to fly in and try her. You will not be disappointed.
Transport can be arranged worldwide and she is open to full vetting and xrays at the buyers expense.
