Monty – 7yr Old 168cm utter gentlemen armchair!
7yo 168cms Irish Draught by Young Carrabawn – Fully vetted and x-rayed.
“Monty” is a genuine, quiet, well mannered all-rounder. He is a friendly, sweet gelding that loves attention.
He is very well schooled with a variety of experience from;
– Dressage: He has lovely correct uphill paces and is established in early lateral movements, rein back along with medium trot & canter.
– Show-Jumping: Jumps courses with fillers (1m – 1.10m) on grass and sand happily.
– Cross-Country: Very brave, covers ground and will jump all obstacles from coffins, drops, steps & skinnies etc.
Monty has won numerous Dressage Ireland shows and has competed at the Dressage Ireland National Winter Finals and National Championships and received scores of 73%. He has competed Preliminary and Novice and currently holds 71 points.
He has won Try Eventing classes and has competed in Combined Training.
Monty has started his showing career, he has competed in Balmoral Show, he can do a good extension and rides well for the judge. He has also been ridden under a sidesaddle. He is a good model of an Irish Draught with 9 inches of bone and would do superb in Irish Draught weight classes and Performance classes.
Monty is excellent to shoe, box, clip, travel, bath, catch, will happily hack alone or in company. He is excellent to work around, behaves impeccably with other horses, unphased when he attends shows and will stay away from home happily.
He has no vices, and will happily will live in or out. All his vaccinations, worming and dentist routines are up to date.
Owned and ridden by petite woman and has been in the same home for the last 3 years
Open to full vetting and xrays. We have assessed this horse ourselves and is completely as described! Transport easily arranged worldwide.
