Stunning 6yr Old 17hh/17.1 Eventer/All-Rounder/Riding Club
Ride-Ability R4+ (Please see ride-ability scoring page for details)
Dougie is a very impressive 17/17.1hh Irish 6yr Old that oozes talent and quality. Stunning to look at with big elastic paces. Very scopey over a fence and equally as good with his front end as he is his hind end. Broken as a late four year old in Ireland Dougie has been produced slowly allowing him to mature and grow into himself. He now has an excellent foundation to get on with affiliated competitions next year. Happily schooling around a track of fences would go up through the grades easily. He is brave, does not look at his fences and no stopping/running out. Works nicely on the flat and would do a lovey dressage test. Has been cross-country schooled and is has hunted all season over hedge country in the UK with a lady. Very mannerly at the meet and will stand and wait for his fence. A nice responsive ride that gives you a lovely feel under saddle. LOCATED IN OXFORDSHIRE.
Great to hack alone and in company. Good in traffic.
Excellent manners to do everything with. Good to shoe, clip, load. Stands to be mounted. Really hard to fault Dougie as he is such a gentlemen. Has a clean vet cert on him from 05.12.17.
Would make a County Level Working Hunter, would make a superb Event Horse to produce onwards for this season and would easily go out and start at BE90 with a few runs could then move up. Would also Show-Jump up to a nice level. Perfect Smart Hunter for somebody that wants to stay safe but look very smart. Really versatile nice horse that has a lot to give someone.
By Tattygar Full Monty who goes back to the very famous Clover Hill by the TB stallion Native Friend.
