16.3hh 8yr Old Alrounder/Hunting Horse. Gentleman. This guy is one in a million. Hunted in both Meath and Kerry in Ireland. Meath is more clean hunting with solid fences whereas Kerry is more ditches, dykes and banks. He is very brave and will take on anything. Has a nice scopey jump and would certainly jump 1.10s. Has been hunted by young ladies and and older man isn’t strong or silly and will go at the front or the back. Very mannerly but takes on the fences with a clean scopey jump. Is bombproof in traffic and hacks out both alone or in company, hacks down through the local village with trucks, cars and vans passing. Fantastic to do anything with, easy to tack up, load, clip etc. Doesn’t need to be ridden everyday, he really is as genuine as they come. Fantastic for someone who wants to hunt in the winter and have some fun in the summer. Flatwork needs a little work as this horse has been predominantly hunted. Nothing a months schooling wouldn’t fix, as you can see from the video that was taken after a few days flatwork. Based in Co.Kerry at the moment and is back in fit for hunting. Stunning uphill horse that stands very proudly. This guy knows his job and looks after his rider.
