17hh 7yr old. Stunning horse with manners to burn. Super personality and loves his cuddles. Really enjoys his work. Fabulous show hunter type. Full draught but a very sporty model who could really turn his hoof to anything. Was a bit of a late starter in life through no fault of his own so only really got going out and about in the summer. He is now out hunting with Weston and Banwell Harriers in Somerset weekly. Great at the meet takes everyones eye. Jumps everything he has been faced to and stands on point. Really nice hunt horse for someone to finish out the season on and crack on and compete next year. Has also been to a few big shows at the end of the summer to have a look around (footage in the video) he behaved impeccably, didn’t get stressed or silly at all. Took to it like a duck to water. No problem in the warm up with horses cantering around him etc. Superb model, will do well in the show ring, very straight moving. He is a beautiful hunt horse, nice enough to event and has scope to jump, nice paces and would certainly do a nice dressage test. Fab to hack he just marches on and you just sit there. Great in traffic, has a little look at something really scary but no hopping across the road or over reacting, has a look and walks on by. Really is stunning and very lovely in the stable and to handle. Flatwork is coming on nicely and he is starting to work in a consistent shape. Nice uphill horse. Perfect for someone looking for something to play around with, do a bit of riding club, hunting and training shows over the winter and compete next year. All the ground work has been done its just to crack on with the fun stuff now. You will be sure to get compliments where ever you go as he is truly stunning. Will be a fab forever friend for someone. Really honest guy that is ready now to crack on with the fun stuff. He’s fine to leave standing in for a few days and hop up on, does’t get fresh or silly. Excellent to load is quite happy to stand in the box when you take the other horse away. Loves food and is in great condition. Videos taken at the end of the summer. He has a lot done since and new videos will be updated in the next week or so.
We had him fully vetted and x-rayed when we bought him. He is as clean as a whistle. No lumps, bumps, splints, wind issues, warts etc. Quite happy to let the X-rays go with him and indeed he is open to full vetting and X-rays again.
