Meet Oscar – 6yr old bay gelding by Lancelot. Oscar is a pure gentleman in every way. Is currently ridden by and lady and a gentleman.
He has been broken and produced slowly and carefully. He is a perfect gentleman in every way with manners to burn. Has been produced nice and slowly to this point as he is a big boy and we all know they need time to mature. That being said Oscar has had a very successful showing career since he began as a 5 yr old.
He has won many classes and championships. He has also competed and placed in woking hunter classes and schooled cross country very well. He is brave and honest to a fence both showjumping and cross country schooling. Big scopey jump and fantastic paces which the judges love! Schooled well on the flat. Excellent transitions both up and down. Some of his showing results include;
2017 Show Season – 6 wins 4 Championships 2 Reserve Championships
2018 Show Season – 5 wins 3 Championships 1 Reserve Championship, to date.
Countless Double Clear round in SJ up to 1.10m certainly has scope to go up the levels.
He is a big, easy, comfortable and pleasant horse. He is quiet to show, box, clip, ride alone, in company and in traffic.
Was also 6th in the Young Irelander as a 3yr Old.
Oscar is now ready to go on and excel in any equestrian discipline.
He hasn’t been hunted as not to mark him for showing but he is impeccably behaved in all situations and within large groups of horses so I doubt it would be an issue for him. Really could excel in any sphere. He has had a great start and would be lovely to see him go on and continue to excel in any competitive discipline. Real wowser horse who turns heads wherever he goes. No lumps, bumps or vices. Just a beautiful horse with a personality to match!
