This fella is the sweetest pony you will ever meet (guaranteed). All he wants is cuddles and affection, will always be the first one up to you in the field. He is a firm yard favourite.
Mervyn has done numerous huntertrials both single and in pairs, he always led the way around and always went clear. He has plenty of unreg showjumping rounds under his belt. He has gone sj and xc schooling multiple times.
Any where he goes he doesn’t change – always stays the same quiet pony, very easy to tack up outside of the box and will wait like a saint.
He has brought out nervous children hunting and behaved impeccably.
He is a dream to clip, shoe, load, wash etc.
When riding, he is quite forward so wouldn’t be a first pony but no badness in him whatsoever.
He has natural flying changes.
He was used in the riding school briefly. He’s well used to group ride outs, galloping through stubbles, hacking etc. he’ll hack both alone and in company.
He is up to date with shoeing, worming, teeth and vaccines. He would be very well suited to a slightly older competitive child that wants to do a bit of everything.
