A super Pony Club pony that will give a child years of fun. Girl in the video is 5’6 and about 11stone so he won’t be outgrown easily!! Standing at 14.3hh but measured in for SJI at 148cms Jake has plenty of presence. with fantastic uphill paces. Floats over the ground and gives the rider a super feeling. This guy also has a big scopey jump and is schooling 1.10m at home. Very brave to a fence and doesn’t look at any filler or gate. He is fantastic around a cross-country course, quick off his feet and not intimidated by bigger fences. Jake has hunted for two full seasons and has been out this season twice. Very mannerly and is well able to keep up with the bigger horses. Really can’t say enough about him, he is utterly fantastic. Stands like a rock to mount, you could practically crawl up his tail and he’d stand there patiently. Is great in the stable. Clipped him no problem at all. He actually enjoyed having his back legs done – first time I have seen this! Good to shoe, load etc etc… Good boy to hack alone and in company, great in traffic, loves going for a canter across the fields or down the bridle way. Doesn’t get silly or stupid. He has been used for lessons and behaved impeccably. Such a gorgeous boy he really is beautiful. Looks amazing when all plaited up, gets remarks from everyone. Jake is suitable for so many jobs. Would make an ideal horse to share between a few people. He could hack one day, go show-jumping the next, then head out for a days hunting and finish off the week with a dressage test (although he may be a little tired after all of that!!). Something for everyone. Jake is also talented enough to make a top competition pony. Although he hasn’t been used for affiiliated competing in the past he has a sound foundation to get started this season. Very talented in all 3 spheres he really would go to the top and it wouldn’t take him long to get there.! Super for Eventing but is also good enough to do straight Showjumping, Dressage or X-country. Lastly he is a massive character and is just fantastic to have on the yard.
